"Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" (abbreviated UMvC3, Ultimate Marvel, or Marvel 3) is the re-release version of the fighting game "Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds." Ultimate adds a number of new modes and characters which are not available in the original release, allowing players to try even more fighters in their three-person, superhero tag-teams. Note however, that two characters--Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Shuma-Gorath from Doctor Strange--are locked away as downloadable content. This DLC, along with others, is compatible with either version of the game, but it has been officially delisted from online storefronts, meaning that the PS3 version of the game will be missing some content if DLC has not already been purchased prior to the delisting.
