Shipping Policy – The Video Game Cavern

We make every attempt to ship orders the next business day. While this is our standard, shipping carrier delays and order volume may occasionally affect dispatch timing.

Shipping transit times vary based on destination within the United States and are determined by the shipping method selected at checkout.

Domestic Shipping (U.S. Only)

  • We ship only to addresses within the United States.

  • Available shipping options and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout.

  • Orders are shipped via trusted carriers such as USPS, or UPS depending on package size, weight, and service level.

International Shipping

  • We do not ship directly to international addresses.

  • Customers may use a third-party forwarding service if they provide a U.S.-based shipping address (examples include mail/package forwarders).

  • The Video Game Cavern is not responsible for packages once delivered to a forwarding service.

  • We do not guarantee, replace, refund, or support issues that occur after delivery to a forwarding address.

  • We do not cover damage, loss, customs issues, or delivery failures caused by the use of a forwarder.

Order Tracking

  • Tracking information is provided once the order ships.

  • It may take up to 24 hours for carriers to update tracking status after dispatch.

Lost or Delayed Packages

  • If a package is delayed in transit, we will assist by providing tracking details and carrier contact information.

  • A package is considered “lost” only after the carrier officially confirms it.

  • In the event of a lost package, we will work with the carrier to file a claim where applicable.

Damaged Packages

  • If an item arrives damaged, customers must notify us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of:

    • The shipping box

    • Packing material

    • The damaged item

    • The label on the box

  • We will determine next steps based on the carrier claim process and the condition of the shipped item.

Incorrect Address

  • Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address.

  • If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, we may reship at the customer’s expense or refund the order minus the original shipping cost.

Important Notes

  • We do not cover or accept liability for orders delivered to forwarding services beyond confirming delivery to the U.S. address provided.

  • By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to this policy.
