The Game Boy Color Slam is a limited edition exclusive to Italy, produced by Nintendo in collaboration with Mirinda, the beverage brand that in italian was named Slam. this gameboy was basically a miranda game boy but with a pop up sticker that cover the Miranda logo and replaces it with the Slam logo. This console was distributed as a prize in a contest where participants had to find an “S” symbol under Slam bottle caps. The contest took place in Italy in the early 2000s, specifically between 2001 and 2002. It is estimated that 50 units were produced.
