The cartridge contains the full game along with a distribution map to be provided to other players. It was one of four distribution cartridges used for Dragon Quest IX events at various retailers. The Zoma cartridge was used at participating Gamestops in 2010 before being recalled by Nintendo. The original save file provided by Nintendo of America was named NOA1. The front of the cartridge is identical to a retail copy with an identifying sticker on the back.
