Released exclusively in Japan on the Sega Saturn, Dead or Alive was a mega hit for Tecmo. There's actually two versions of this game released. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing which version it is without seeing the underside of the game disc's stamp codes as the packaging has no difference. The version considered to be v1.001 will have a stamp code on the inner ring saying T-3603GP-01863. Whereas, the version considered to be v1.002 will have a stamp code on the inner ring saying T-3603GP-01863A with an A appended to the end. It is unknown what the differences between the two are, but it's believed to be bug fixes and additional features added to Sparring or Training mode.
