Vern and Google Business Profile Reviews

The Video Game Cavern uses Vern, a private staff tool, to manage reviews on our Google Business Profile. With authorization from the store’s Google account, Vern accesses review information, including reviewer display names, ratings, review text, dates, and existing replies.

Vern stores review records and reply activity to help staff manage responses and avoid duplicate replies. Review text, reviewer names, and ratings may be sent to OpenAI to generate personalized responses. Approved responses may be published publicly on Google, including automatically when they meet the store’s reply rules.

For questions about this processing or to request deletion of information held by Vern, contact Sales@thevideogamecavern.com. Deleting a record held by Vern does not remove the original review from Google.
