Original copies of Bubble Bobble Revolution without the “-1” to its code have a major software bug that occurs during Level 30. The boss does not appear which causes the players not be able to advance and access any of the remaining 70 levels to complete the game. Then, Codemasters offered to send out fixed replacement copies (USA-1) to allow players complete the game entirely. But only a few were manufactured which makes this variant rare.
